I specialize in wedding ceremonies. I will work closely with you (and/or your wedding planner) to choose the perfect musical selections for the various processionals and recessional; and if needed, any musical interludes during the ceremony. Typically, I also play for about twenty minutes, before the ceremony begins, as your guests arrive, mingle, and find their seats.
In addition to the ceremony, I am also available to perform during other segments of the event. This includes the rehearsal dinner, post-ceremony cocktail hour, reception dinner, etc.
Do you and your fiance have a particular song that you consider "your song"? If so, let me know. I will find or create an arrangement to play that will add a personal touch to your ceremony.
What sort of musical vibe do you envision for your wedding? All traditional? Less traditional, more eclectic? Maybe you'd like a traditional ceremony, then a more contemporary cocktail hour? These are the questions I will need answered in order to create a personalized set-list for your wedding.
Do you have a friend, family member, or member of your wedding party who is musically talented? If so, it could be possible to organize a collaboration of some sort. This will make a lasting impression on you and all of your guests. This could be a duet with guitar and another instrument, or I could play accompaniment for a vocal performance.
When pricing live music vendors, it is significantly cheaper to go with a soloist, for obvious reasons. And when it comes to getting the most out of a single instrument, there is none more versatile than the guitar.
Like most vendors, I charge an additional fee for travel, learning obscure selections, etc. - but in general, my fees are comparable with those of other soloists in Central Texas.
